Re: [Rock Painting] Necklaces

Dear Moni,

I bought an 1/8" masonary drill from "Home Depot" that claimed to be able to drill through granite, in my second attempt to drill through the rather flat, rounded stone, that I had in mind to make a necklace for a friend of mine, for her birthday.  The first drill bit I bought, that cost a bit less than the second one, claimed to drill only through concrete.  I think that the second one had diamond dust in it, maybe...Sherry

I am so impressed by the work everyone on this site does. I hope to
post some pictures for critique this after noon. I have a question, I
just love the necklaces that are being painted, my question is how do
you get the holes in the rocks? I would love to paint some really
small kitties and put them on ribbon like the one with the yellow
flower that was on the homepage a couple of weeks ago. The ribbon made
the rock seem almost delicate.
Thanks for all the help and inspiration.
Moni
