My animals in the non-rock album are paper mache sculpture. I
generally do lifesize animals. The first thing I do is make an
armature from whatever gives me the shape I need, wire coathangers,
aluminum foil, Ben and jerry's ice cream containers. Then I put
several layers of paper mache strips all over to give it "skin". Next
I make pulp from recycled paper and sculpt the features, face
musculature, etc... After it dries forever, then I either paint it or
color it with pieces of torn colored paper. I usually make my eyes out
of polymer clay. I'm glad you enjoyed them.
