I can certainly sympathize with you about lost luggage, so I want to share the lessons that I have learned. Years ago I went to Hawaii over Christmas week and had tickets for Don Ho's show on New Year's Eve. Well my luggage never showed up and I was stuck wearing winter clothes from Chicago for my week there, and to the show, because in my younger years I couldn't afford to purchase a new wardrobe at the hotel shops. My luggage finally showed up the day before I was supposed to leave. What did I learn? I pack everything I need for the week in my carry on bag including hair blower, shampoo, makeup, a small bottle of liquid laundry soap to wash things out in the hotel bathroom sink, inflatable hangers, etc. I buy only clothes made from wrinkle proof fabric for the trip and learned how to roll my clothes so they take up little space in the carry on bag. This is how the sailors get everything in their duffle bags for a six month tour of duty at sea. I could live for a week out of my carry on bag if I don't mind wearing the same thing every day and it's a plus if my luggage shows up without a problem. Just imagine how many thousand times a day this happens in airports around the world, so please don't feel that you are alone. I'm glad you made the most of the situation and enjoyed your trip. Life is just too short to be upset about the things that you cannot change. Enjoy life because every day is a gift. Blessings, Sue
