finally got the nerve to try painting a paver. The only painting
experience I have is with birdhouses, lawn ornaments, etc. and always
using acrylic paint in the little bottles. I wanted to get off to the
right start and not make any mistakes, so went to Michael's and bought
the Patio Paints as recommended in Lin's books. Well, I am having the
darnest time getting them to cover sufficiently, sometimes having to
put on five coats. I'm going crazy and about to throw my paver in the
garbage and start all over with acrylics. Did I make a mistake by
sealing the paver first with white primer? Maybe the paint would work
better if it was a porous surface. I would appreciate your comments
about the Patio Paints and the primer because I am off to a terrible
start and totally frustrated. Thanks so much! Sue in McHenry IL
