[Rock Painting] Re: Boston Terrier

Hi Betty,
I use whatever I think will work and whatever is cheap. I am forever
on a budget. If I want a really smooth surface I have been known to
paint on a "soupy" coating of spackle and then I sand when dry. I
normally just add a couple of coats of acrylic craft paints. I have
even used house paint. Have you ever priced gesso? It is expensive!
Suzi is helping me with a new project, she is so great. I have decided
to write e-books like hers explaining different paper mache projects,
there will be patterns and everything. Haven't had time for rocks
lately but I will post more paper mache today.
Thanks, Moni
