There seems to be so much color variation among the breed...in general...I usually basecoat with white ...and then do a light wash of maybe antique white mixed with brown (brown oxide/apple barrel). alittle more brown wash to the darker areas and a little less on the areas around the body that will be lighter. Suzi always recommends a white or light basecoat. It makes the colors pop. For the darker face and tail etc...i use a dark brown / brown oxide mixed with black. Hopefully suzi will be back soon to elaborate more on her recommendations.
