Most cases of Acute bronchitis are viral not bacterial...so the
antibiotics aren't effective. If it's bacterial you ususally have a
high fever (over 102) and dark green sputum. (as opposed to
yellow-green) If u are taking the antibiotic I would chase it with a
probiotic because the antibiotic will kill off your beneficial bacterial
..making your immunity lower and more susceptible to colds down the
road.
