I use the Delta Ceramcoat Varnish and sealer for my flagstone and rocks. I use to get it at Wal Mart in the craft section, but our Wal Mart has cut back its crafts department so I had to order it online. But Michaels and Ben Franklin carry it too.
I put the sealer on first before I paint the rock and then a couple coats of the varnish when I am done. Its good stuff!
