Of all the things I paint I think I have the most fun with the rocks. Lin's books got me started, but Suzi's food really set my mind going! Sometimes I know exactly what something is when I pick it up, other times I have to sit it on the table and look at it awhile before it comes to me. And then sometimes I have to paint it three or four times before the rock shows me what it wants to be!
