Re: [Rock Painting] TATTO LADY?

Hi Suzi!  Thanks for your kind comments.  I am totally new to rockpainting, or any kind of painting for that matter (except my living room walls).  Thank goodness for retirement as I have lots of time to learn.  I just started one of those Windsor stones from Lin's books, so wish me luck.  If it's not too horrible I will post it.  Blessings, Sue

Christina, I am proud your show turned out good.
I went to mine, too.  This was my second one.
I sold several rocks but wished I had lady bugs also.

I sold the one to the lady that ordered the dog I painted and made over $70 at the antiq. mall day before the show. I may post a pic. later in this and that.I didnt get rich  in money but did in  new friendships.
I will miss the little piggy, too.
CSG, Carolyn

My pigger was one of the first rocks to sell! I am very excited! (and I
miss him too). I sold mostly small items like the lady bugs and bees. I
sold a frog and a cat. I made my own beds and some pillows. The craft
show didn't draw a big crowd but I paid for my space and had a great
time. I met alot of nice crafters who had alot of ideas and suggestions
for me on where else to set up. I made some nice contacts. Thanks for
the suggestion about being prepared with small items. You were right,
that is what drew parents to my table. I posted some photos of my table
in my album at rockpainting2, as I wasn't sure if I should here. Thanks
a million for all the help. I can't wait to find another show!
Christina p.s.-working on another pig!
