Hello
Thank you... yes I am a newbie and will also be more of a lurker for a bit.   I just recently picked up a few books about rock painting but haven't actually applied paint to a rock.   ok I have but not in this manner. I have had many rocks in various colored paints that I have used as decorative door holders and garden markers but nothing as interesting as what I have seen in the books or on here.    I have all my supplies and
am ready but we are in the slate belt of PA and so far I haven't found decent rocks that don't fall apart with the slightest bit of handling.    Mothers Day I might be able to gather a few nice starter rocks on my way to my families place in NJ.
I hope to have some pics to add soon and look forward to hearing about and seeing everyone's work.
Kerri
