I could retire, I've worked at this same job for 32 years now! But,
I get to work at home and the job has evolved into an "editing" job,
so it's not as stressful as it used to be. Plus, I would still need
to supplement my retirement, so I might as well stay at this job
where I get to work at home. One of my co-workers is taking an
extended vacation, a 10 week camping tour all across the west to see
all the sights before gas is so outrageous they won't be able to
go. We just bought a pop-up camper so we can go to a few nice
campgrounds within a few hundred miles of here, plus I'll have it for
attending craft shows that are further away. I want to start doing
more craft shows this fall... We'll see how it goes. I've been
trying to paint up the rock supply I have and go ahead and price,
wrap and box them and store them in our storage barn for future craft
shows. I'm trying to paint MULTIPLES of items and then divvy them
out for assorted craft shows (as opposed to waiting until the last
minute like I usually do!). As soon as my co-worker gets back, I'm
planning on taking 2 weeks off and we'll go camping and I'LL PAINT.
Hubby just bought two kayaks, one for him and one for my daughter so
they can do that while I paint. (I'm afraid I'd sink the kayak... my
bottom would drag the bottom of the creek, lol).
Oh, If I could come to Malaysia... in my daydreams, lol. I copied the
pictures of the goat pictures you took on your ostrich farm trip.
I "re-painted" the goat I did. Your pictures were much, much better
than the photos the owner supplied and it helped my
perspective..Thanks! You get to go on such wonderful adventures!
I'm still in awe of the Angor Wat pictures.
