Your papier mache kitties are adorable...super job!
I tried that a long time ago, it is fun but time consuming. A friend and I did some life size monsters for her halloween party. It took us weeks to get them all done. We did Frankensteins monster and dracula and a giant black spider and a couple others. We used chicken wire for the frames.
I ended up doing most of the painting, but it was fun.
