Good 4 u kathleen! I enjoyed being a student...I was pretty good at it. It took me 7 years to get my Bachelor's degree as I worked my way through school so I had a lot of time to get the hang of it 
I still define myself as a student....just with a independent curriculum.
One class I recommend is a course called Art Appreciation or something similar. I learned so much . Identifing elements & styles in architecture, music and paintings. In that class was the first time I heard Pachelbel's Canon in D and fell in love with it.
