Just posted another shot of Lady, the schnauser in progress.

To answer Betty's question. I usually start putting in the darker areas first and then go for the shadows and then the light colors.

I kind of lay it in as I go. After I get all the dark and light areas I go back and do the detail work, whiskers and highlights etc.

Once all the shadows and dark areas are on you can see pretty much where you can tweek it to improve it.
