[Rock Painting] paint cracking up

UGH! I just noticed this, and I have a sale coming up on Monday : on a
couple of my little painted canvas boards, some of the paint has
developed a crackled effect. The paint broke up or cracked up.It
doesn't seem lifted off the canvas though, and cracking is not even
noticeable except very very close-up.This has happened on one painted
rock also.

On the canvas, it is like in horizontal bands across the painting. On
the canvas boards I had painted a simple background then sealed, and
did the rest of the painting.I always let paint dry really thoroughly
(not with a blow dryer) But the background paint is effected too.The
canvas boards I'm using were pretty cheap.

Also, I'll use Delta Ceramcoat paints and Folk art paints in same
painting, mixing diff. brands, always thought that was ok.

So I'm really puzzled.
Has anyone got an idea what is causing paint to crack up? Don't know
if I should try to sell these paintings...
Thanks for any comments,Vicky
