WELCOME CRYSTAL!!
The fun thing about rock painting is anything goes! You can certainly use stencils or stamps. Even if you don't think of yourself as artistically inclined..... I'm confident, with a little guidance and patience you can create wonderful rock paintings.
Good resources for the guidance part can be found in our FILES section on our groups home page. There is a ton of helpful tips for beginners and even some simple tutorials. You may want to purchase or check out your local library for some of Lin Wellford's rock painting books. You will find easy step by step instructions.
I also highly recommend checking Suzi's website www.suzichua.com she has some free tutorials and she sells a wonderful ebook with easy, step by step instructions that will have you painting like a pro in no time. It has been invaluable to me.
