I haven't had the chance to print out the projects from her Ebook yet.  May see if my sister will for me.  I want to do the snake so bad!  Washes are beyond me at the minute as are the white in the eye to make it 3D looking.  But I will learn it now that I have time!

I used Gold, Blue, White and Green metallic paint in the birds.  I just love metallics!  Oh!  Red and maroon too!  Birds are my very favorite subjects!  I have an album just for my birds at that same site.  It has my baby bird that hatched here that we didn't even know about in it.

nice job!    Birds are a challenging subject.    Are you using a metallic type paint on these?  The colors seem really shiny.  very colorful.   Have you tried any paintings from Suzi's ebook.  She shows you how to lay down those soft washes of color and how to get more realism with your fur stroke.
