[Rock Painting] For old and new painters alike

Just a short story-when I joined this group I already had all of Lyn's
books (except the kid one) and had been painting rocks for a couple of
years off and on. I have also been painting ceramics for years. Then
I started painting on wood. Actually, I paint on anything that will
sit still long enough-even people! (I do some face painting for the
kids sometimes at fairs, craft shows, etc.) Anyway, since I had been
painting for some time, I just joined the group and away I went. I
just looked at a couple of the files that I have never looked at. I
wandered over to one file that mentioned some lessons from someone
named "Hippigator" who, if I understand correctly, has passed away?
Anyway, I go to those files and start reading. WHAT A HOOT! That
Hippigator was FUNNY, and I have learned so much from reading a few of
those files! I thought I was an experienced painter and knew quite a
bit, but I have learned so much from those files. Anyway, my point is,
if you haven't read them, I encourage you to do so, there is so much to
learn! I wish I had been a member of the group when that person was, I
bet those who were always had something to laugh about!
