it's cute Betty...i was thinking the body behind the head would be a darker shade to give it more depth and the ears would be lighter as they are closer to the viewer.  maybe darker on the body part just between the ears and then gradually getting lighter as it goes to his bum.  also for the body part.  If you add fur strokes (((((  )))))
curved like that it would make the back of his body look round.   All the curved fur if that makes sense.
