An evening of intimate, uplifting music in a truly beautiful space. Three friends, bandmates and kindred songwriters play their hearts out on this very special Friday night.



24 august 2008, 3 p.m., Yael Bat-Shimon at The Nave Gallery, $10
The Nave presents violinist Yael Bat-Shimon in a performance of her unique brand of soulful, inventive, sometimes playful improvisations (or "live compositions").  She is joined in several duo improvisations by guest guitarist Ariel Burger, who brings his own imagination and deep sensitivity to the mix.

MBTA: From Davis Square take Bus 87 or 88 - Clarendon Hill. Exit at Broadway and Curtis St. and walk 3 blocks north on Curtis Street. We are on the corner of Curtis Street and Powderhouse Blvd.

Parking: Available in the West Somerville Neighborhood School after 5:00 and on weekends. Lot is located on Raymond St. Turn right at intersection of Powderhouse & Curtis onto Curtis and take your first left onto Raymond. Lot is located about 1 block down.  Street parking is also available one block away on Packard Avenue from Powderhouse up the hill to the Tufts University campus.  There are no restrictions on street parking for Sunday events.
