[somartscouncil] Film screening and director talk: October 27th

The Somerville SPED PAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) invites you to a film screening and director talk with Maggie Doben, the producer of "Labeled Disabled" on Monday, October 27 at the Capuano Early Childhood Center (150 Glen Street).  

 

Maggie Doben is the executive director, producer, and cinematographer of the film, a documentary chronicling curriculum about helping children understand physical disabilities.

 

Maggie Doben, 33, has been an early childhood educator for 11 years.  In addition to her teaching, she is a professional photographer and photo-documents events throughout New England. Maggie earned her B.A. in Studio Arts at Bates College and Glasgow School of Art, Scotland.  She subsequently earned her Masters Degree in education at Lesley College.  Doben is currently employed by the Cambridge Friends School as a first grade teacher and lives in Watertown, MA. She also maintains her own business, Mdoben Photography.
