Good Afternoon Everyone,

 

As you may know, the City of Somerville and Federal Realty Investment Trust (FRIT) are partnering to sponsor the first annual “Fireworks on the Mystic” on Saturday, October 4^th, from 4-8pm.

 

The evening’s events will include family-friendly games and entertainment, food (RedBones!), and one of the City’s largest-ever fireworks displays to date.  

 

Entertainment begins at 4pm at the Mystic riverfront across from the Assembly Square Marketplace, with fireworks scheduled to begin at approximately 7:15.  The rain date for the event is Sunday, October 5th.  Parking will be available at the former movie theater at 5 Middlesex Ave., but since it will be limited, we are encouraging people to walk or take public transportation wherever possible.
