Hello. Tonight is a LCC public information meeting, please read below:
The Somerville Arts Council's 2009 Local Cultural Council grant period has arrived. Applications/Guidelines will be available at local libraries, City Hall, Arts Council office, and on-line by Sept. 3rd. The deadline for applications is: Oct. 15th.
Funding is available for individuals, schools, community groups and non-profit organizations in the fields of dance, film/video, literature, theater, music, visual arts, multidisciplinary and cultural heritage. Grants may be used for afterschool and summer programs, school residencies and field trips, artist fellowships, arts events, exhibitions, public concerts and more.
If you have an idea for a project but need some help in fleshing it out, please come to an informational LCC session to learn more.
