Re: [Rock Painting] Non Rock Question

there was something that i have used before that i painted onto the fabric then painted the design.  and it made it softer and washable.  i can't remember what it was, but it was in the section of hobby lobby as the other mediums for acrylics.  it was specific for fabrics.  i'll see if i can find it in my studio.  i think i have a box of that stuff...

As most of you know I am painting some tote bags for the ladies at
church.

I am using my regular acrylics with a little sealer mixed in, and they
are turning out pretty good, but stiff.

I want to paint a few articles of clothing, and would like the design
to be softer, and washable.

Pebeo was suggested, but it is quite pricey, and has to be set with
heat.

Any suggestions as to what brand might work or if there is something to
mix with regular acrylic paint that would make is softer, and washable.

Happy Rockin! Betty \0/
