Thanks for the comments on the dog.

Diana, I used a combination of colors for the dogs fur.  For the dark areas I used Burnt Umber but for the lighter areas I mixed Terra Cotta with Soft Suede.  To lighten that color I used the antique white that has a tiny bit of yellow in it.
