Mostly I work from photos. I liked this pose and thought it would look good on the flagstone. I enhanced the background to fit the stone and added some of my own flair to it. It is faster most of the time to use photos for reference.
Right now I am working on a different project for me, it's an abstract. I will post a photo of it soon. I don't usually do those, but am doing an experiment...
